GPU is pretty weak.

if it's a gaming build, upgrade to a 1060, even sacrificing some stuff to get there. you don't need an NVME SSD, you don't need to buy windows full price (use kinguin), and you don't need such an expensive motherboard if it stops you from getting a 1060 6GB

I'd advice against the RAM, you can get cheaper RAM with the same performance (I'd check the Corsair Vengeance model numbers with the Motherboard QVL for compatibility) unless you want that specific aesthetic

Frostbite (White build PC)

Spoiler

MSI B350M Mortar Arctic - Ryzen 5 1600 @ 3.9 GHz - Corsair H60 - ASUS GTX 1060 3GB DUAL OC @ (2130 MHz Core Clock + 4600 MHz Mem Clock)

2x8GB 3200MHz Corsair Vengeance C16 Corsair 400C White - EVGA 650 GQ

Razer Deathadder Chroma - Razer Blackwidow Tournament Edition Chroma - Sennheiser HD 598 SR - LG 24MP59G-P

Are they pirated copies of windows, or legit?

I checked all the ram on the QVL, and I can only get access to the Kingston if i remember correctly, but I'll have another look.

Even non-QVL RAM will work like 99.9% of the time.

What are you using the system for?

Kinguin and G2A sell Win10 keys for <$30USD but can be sketchy. /r/microsoftsoftwareswap is a better bet IMO and about the same price. Alternatively, you can just use Win10 for free.

Gaming, every day use, heavy multitasking, multiple broswers, video analysis

Looking at the reddit thread, it looks pretty legit, thanks for the heads up mate!

Update; The only RAM i have access to on the QVL list is HX433C16PB3K2/16 (and potentially CMK16GX4M2B3200C16W if I take the 'w' off the back.)

I should mention; The gaming will be shit all honestly (Garys mod, Golf with friends, small shit like that).

You  don't need to buy ram set off the QVL list, most ram kit will work fine. Motherboard manufacture are not able test every set out there.

Well, then swap the RX 580 in my suggestion for a 1050Ti and save a further $200 over the $50 I've already managed to save you(with a better system as well).

If i drop the ram form the one in the system build to CMK16GX4M2B3200C16W or HX433C16PB3K2/16 - I can save $30
Dropping the M.2 to a 256 samsung evo SSD - I can save 36
Buying the OS from the R/microsoftswap - I can save $80

EDIT: total saving = 146

Huh? The RAM I suggested is $90 cheaper, just get that. Dont pay more than $225 for RAM. You can afford the 500GB 850 EVO, it's definitely worth it.

Get the system I suggested. Drop the RX 580 to a 1050Ti to save $200 if you really want. You can also drop the 500GB 850 EVO to 250GB if you really want to, but I wouldn't.
