Posted October 23, 2017 What cooler would be best for i7 7700k. I'm weighing towards either Noctua NH-D15 and evga 280 clc. Case I'm using is Cooler Master Pro 5 and motherboard is ASUS ROG Z270H. Any and all suggestions are appreciated.
Posted October 23, 2017 The cooling performance between the two is more or less the same. Personally, I'd choose the NH-D15 since as an air cooler, it'll produce less noise, have less points of failure and is also significantly cheaper than the EVGA AIO... though it's not quite the looker. Posted October 23, 2017 If you want the NH-D15 performance without the ugly looks I can personally recommend the Cryorig R1, the Be Quiet Dark Rock Pro 3 is also a good choice that looks nice. If you prefer the AIO route I'm sure the EVGA 280 CLC will do just as good but it will cost more.
