Yes, you don't have to deal with batteries + you wont experience wireless signal losing connectivity and such.

Not sure what you mean by 'more resistance'.

I should explain myself more clearly:

Usually you plug your mouse cable into the PC tower. The wire usually has more room to work with, so there is less resistance. But I have a laptop and a mousepad right next to it. If i had a wired mouse the wire would wrap around the laptop, meaning theres less room the wire has to move around, so there may be a bit of resistance and I have concerns with that.

Sorry if I can't explain clearly, my English isn;t very good.

There will be no issues with using the wire, there are up and down sides. I personally have been using a wired G403, and while I can live with the wire I can't wait for black friday to upgrade to wireless.

The ability to google properly is a skill of its own.

Are you talking about electrical resistance in the wire or physical resistance (friction) on the cable itself?

Friction, my friend, and since the mouse wraps around the laptop, I feel that the friction will be accentuated due to less room to move around in

Oh okay, that makes more sense. I can't see it being an issue unless you're on a particularly rough surface. I've played on laptops a lot and almost always with a wired mouse and I never had any issues.

Personally I prefer wireless with my laptops. Just one less thing you need to unplug if you just need to pick up your laptop to move around. The dongles are so small that you can just leave them plugged in most of the time. And I haven’t noticed any issues with latency when I’m gaming. I even bought a cheap gaming one to tied me over until the G403 wireless goes on sale (hopefully on Black Friday).
