Sure it'll produce about 6 times that in bitcoin, but in the long run electricity cost is what will decide profitability. L3+, s9 and the A4 Dominator are all good, but the L3+ litcoin miner is definitely the best if you can find one for under 4k. But the s9 is perfectly fine. You don't need anything other than a compatible PSU, an Ethernet internet connection and a monitor + mouse/keyboard to help with initial set up. You don't need a PC to have it run, but you will need a separate PC or something using the same internet to configure it initially. The miner itself only requires a compatible power supply and an Ethernet cable plugged into the unit, it takes up very little room. After that, you will need to configure the device; you will need to find it via IP address and then tell it which pool to mine with. All ASIC miners generally follow the same process: Connect miner to a PSU and supply internet via Ethernet cable. Scan your internet network for miner IP. Type IP into another PC's web browser address bar, then type in the username and password for the miner to configure (L3+ username and password is "root" by default, for example) Then, you basically say hey fancy machine of mine, mine through this here fancy server pool that I have personally selected for you. Finally, pay massive electricity bill.
