Hey, guys, I have a modular power supply, although, I don't have all the cables it came with and I have only 2 cables connected to the PSU, the CPU cable, the Motherboard cable and a 2x SATA and 2x Molex cable. I wanted to install an LED strip but I have no more Molex connectors as the two I have are connected to a 2x Molex to 6-pin PCI-e adapter, so I was wondering if I could split one of the Molex connectors in two, giving me 3 Molex connectors in total and then connect the 2x Molex to 6-pin PCI-e adapter and the LED strip. I sent an email to the manufacturer to see if they could provide me with extra modular cables about a week ago, and no answer. The manufacturer is Super Flower and this PSU uses proprietary modular cables, so...

Many thanks, Bruno.

Wouldn't that setup be drawing too much power from the same modular cable?

we are talking a few W, shouldent be more then what you can do with overclocking tbh

Yes, you can install a good amount connectors for one socket.

If the LED's are you basic 12V. You can wire the LED's directly into the PCie socket if you wanted to.

Current Build: Project Frost
Gaming Rig Build: Project Ice Dragon
