dent in aio Small dent in AIO

I recently got a master liquid 240mm aio on sale for 65$, when it came I looked at it closely and say bent fins, I knew that was ok since they bend very easily, but I also noticed this little dent on what I'm assuming liquid goes through, I'm not sure if this small dent can turn into a leak or not, I won't use this aio for another few weeks or so as I'm waiting for money for the rest of my parts. Sorry for iPhone quality, this is the only dent I could see on the radiator.

Yeah that's dented the tubes, while it doesn't look like it pierced it ask for a refund or RMA the unit.

you're fine. if it's not already leaking it won't start for no reason

one says it would be fine, other says its semi-fine, but that's true if it wasn't already leaking why would it start now? I will have it in the front of a meshify c as an intake so if it does leak it won't do much damage

if its not leaking it doesnt matter, most rads come with some sort of shipping damage where at least some fins are bent, but the rad has so many that these few wont make a measureable difference in performance

I just discovered a 2nd dented tube, but it's not as deep as the one shown in the pictures, I have a question though, how do most aio's leak? from tubes, pump, or radiator

Hard to say since it varies, but usually a hose connection or the block itself is common as those are the places with seals unless one pokes a hole in the rad or tube.

From what I've seen yes, if it didn't get physically damaged. It's very low for that to occur though.

Generally speaking, yep. My last H115i developed a teeeeeny tiny leak at the tubes meeting the radiator, and even though it was nothing serious I was able to get an RMA. You could probably get an RMA and have some peace of mind.
