What is considered high temps in Water Cooling?

Small FFT

then the temps are fine man, this is about as good ud get from the aio in that case :v

however the idle temps still seem high, are u sure the cpu isnt randomly beeing stressed while beeing idle? ( tat could explain it tbh )

if prime95 small fft peaks on 60, that means its not an uneven mount ( eventhough that can happen to everyone it goes straight to the 80-100*C on stock, usually 100*C instantly  on uneven mounts hehe )

dont expect too much from an AIO, thats all im saying... ul be dissapointed if u expect alot from a aio

if u want better performance id go for a noctua nh-d15 ( 3fan ofc ) or custom water hehe

other then that id just recommend u to deal with it :v

i wouldnt worry too much about oc with a 1600x btw, u got plenty of cores there and probably the frequency ul end up getting is like 4ghz/4.2 at most or smt (due to ur temps)

for prime95 small fft ( depending wether my voltage goes extreme or not )

with no extreme voltage i usually peak to 90-93*C ( as my border of acceptable basicly 90 )

80 is quite normal for oc, thats my exact temp right now in my current oc on my 4690k @ small fft :)

at 80*C i still push it somtimes haha,

while prime95 small fft runs it really is the max temp possible and u wont even get near that temps in gaming ect, if its like 85-90*C with small fft, with gaming its prolly gonna end up in the 60-70*C range

since max temp on ur chip is 95*C i would just stick with 90*C max temp @ SMALL FFT mode :)

unless ur voltage is extremely high ( i doubt u can even reach extreme high voltages on ur cooling solution tbh )

basicly short said i think ur fine till 90*C

remember even if ur cpu pops to 100*C doesnt mean it will damage instantly, it will take weeks/months to damage it , just not recommend to go above 90*C for extended periods

That works. Thanks a ton. Now onto why the f*** ASUS Aura is so jacked up all the time....

i dont even know what that is, i dont use any software / motherboard features hehe

i usually build my stuff and extremely tweak my windows, use as little software crap as possible, if its not a driver i basicly dont install it xD

also

for temp/monitor i recommend u

CPU-Z

HWMONITOR

both from the company CPUID :)

I'm always having to go grab older versions and install those. Asus is usually on point, I wonder why they still don't have a stable rgb control software.

Prolly user error. Assuming the hardware is performing as intended. Aio isn't watercooling, if it is my titans came stock with water coolers years ago.
