Ah yes, I've totally never done that repeatedly to the point where I stopped folding altogether for a while

it feels hotter than it should be, and the paste on the board is theoretically ~11 years old, so i don't think it would hurt to change anyways

 

 

Edit: i also stopped folding for a while for that reason, have been folding again more recently. Do we know if there is going to be another spring sprint?

Haven't the foggiest. 

Good news is F@H does at least work properly on the RVII if I go back to 2019 WQHL drivers, it'll pull 1.5-2M PPD.

It's an AIO so there's the usual caveats with those, but there shouldn't be any massive issues. Corsair stuff has been damn solid in my experience, and AIOs are often a lot easier to work with (other than wiring them up) compared to massive tower air coolers, though that mostly depends on the size/layout of the case you're using. A 280mm would perform better but those typically have way lower compatibility with a large majority of cases.

Nay. I impulse bought a friend a $160 keyboard for basically no reason so I got ya beat there .

Well actually no, come to think of it there was a very good reason. It's a more compact keyboard, will cover up less of his waifu mousepad.

Can't run a 1660Ti alongside my 1070, though.

The 1070 that I'm not buying is the exact same model as my current one as well.

You can. I ran my 1660 Ti and 1050 Ti together in my Folding rig just fine. Unless you're talking SLI? 

I even had a 1660 Ti - 1050 Ti - 1050 - 660 combo going for a few minutes but then I think I fucked up the drivers so I moved to just a Pascal and Turing card, no Kepler and no 3rd.

Dewit, u won't. At least the 1070 has enough VRAM to not be oofed in SLI... shoutout to my 3GB VRAM 780s that are oofed in most games because they have the GPU horsepower to run at high/ultra but not the VRAM.
