Asus strix 1080ti 11G vs O11G is there a difference on how far each can be manually overclocked?

Wanna buy an asus strictly 1080ti but idk what’s the diff between the 11G vs O11G

(don’t care about the factory oc just wanna get a manual oc as high as possible)

Both should be the same in overclocking results overall. It all comes to silicon lottery.

O11G is usually better binned.

O11G is binned, but I personally believe that as far as performance gains for the money that you spend, its not worth it. So if you are getting the O11G only to get more performance it will be negligible at most.

I have the O11G but kinda sucks since i cant break the 2050MHz barrier due to crashes and instability so i settle with 2000MHz so far.

 

still very happy though with its performance despite the above.

 

could only put a +40-60mhz oc before any higher will cause a crash.

So yes save some money n go with the lesser strix . As long you float approx 2000MHz consistent w.o issues imo u should be fine.
