Posted March 29, 2013 I am a noob at overclocking and was wondering if anyone could lead me to a in depth tutorial for ocing a fx-8350 on a gigabyte ga-970-ud3 mobo thank u also what should I be able to get it to it is being cooled with a h80i in push/pull with arctic silver 5 thermal paste I love gaming,pc building,talking tech. Posted March 29, 2013 Try and use smart o/c software that comes with motherboard, for Asus boards its called AI Suite II and it seems to work well and easy to use, i am sure there should be a simular programme with Gigabyte boards??? got to love Asus components Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options... Posted March 30, 2013 I used overdrive and it is a 4.2 but I know I can get it further than thatthanks for all the help mobo upgrade in the near future The CPU already has a turbo frequency of 4.2Ghz so that doesn't seem like an overclock to me.
