Would a factory reset default my Dev. options though ?

Pretty sure it would, yeah.

So i grabbed the Note 4 out of pure shock after i found out it's specs and the price and it's really good actually xD

And i wondered 2 things i hope anyone who owns the phone could answer..

1- I'm afraid to update to the latest Global rom which is 8.5 which houses android 7.0 because i have heard it's buggy and a mess. Is that true ?

2- How to reset developer  options to default because i messed that up haha

And i would like to know did you expect that from Xiaomi ? It was really a suprise for me

I own a Redmi Note 2. I love it, but I'll be replacing it with a Mi Max 2 when the latter arrives :D

1. New Redmi Note 4's already come with MIUI 8.5 from the store AFAIK, so, the ROM should be stable and not buggy at all... IDK, you can always go back (I think). If the updater app suggests you upgrade to 8.5, then you should definitely do it.

2. I think that if you turn off developer options, they will go back to default. Otherwise, a reset button would be present...

Xiaomi usually offers good phones for quite low prices. I've been happy with my Redmi Note 2, it will turn 2 years old in November, and it needs a refresh. The Mi Max 2 I got is pretty much a Redmi Note 4 with a 6.44" screen and a 5300mAh battery, I hope it matches my expectations xD
