Hmmmm... That Coffee Lake seems to be poking into Q3... Interesting.

 

Does that mean a Q3 launch? So end of September?

The fine print at the bottom says left edge only means first shipment of parts, not necessarily retail availability.

Z370 will be the shortest lived chipset. Cannon lake needs z390?

if Cannon Lake gets released on desktop probably, the chipset is called "Cannon Lake PCH" atleast, so we cant tell if z370 will work for Cannon Lake or not.

Im really concerned that z370 might be not worthy to buy. We cant see into the future but what if Coffee Lake 6core CPUs will run much better on z390. Having to wait 9Month more to get a z390 board is crucial weither its worth buying a 8700k. Cannon / Ice Lake wont be far away from that...  and if Intel is a dick it will require z470 ...
