Need suggestion for SSD drives to use in RAID0

Hey guys.

 

I am going to buy two ~120GB SSD's and have them in RAID0.

 

But I need some suggestions for what drives will work better in RAID0.

Samsung 840 Evo Can't go wrong

You won't see much of a speed increase by going raid with sdd's. I would rather buy one big ssd.

If your aren't doing large file transfer, don't go RAID.

 

But since you ask, Samsung EVOs. those things are way too sexy.

I'm going to say Kingston Hyper X just because everyone else will be recommending Samsung Evo's and because the write speeds are better on the Kingston drives as well as the reads. =p

Allright, I'll scrap the RAID0 idea then and I'll go with a single larger Samsung 840 Evo then.

Good stuff The Samsung 840 EVO comes with a metric-tonne of useful software, I personally think that even though it's slower than the 840 Pro, the software makes it instantly better.
