Best Gaming Laptop for under £700

Hi 

Need help in finding a laptop for my friend. His budget is £700 however he will go over if there is a good deal. He is going off to uni and needs something to run engineering programs on and game on.

Any recommendations would be helpful

I would recommend he ups his budget just a bit to get a decent notebook with a IPS 1080p panel and a 1050Ti. You can check a couple of notebooks that are listed here:

 

Check a couple of reviews for them and see which one works best.

Something with 7300hq and GTX 1050

MSI GL series laptops fit the budget, however they suffers from mediocre build quality
