Is am4 socket going to change with the nanometer change

So amd ryzen  is going to change from 14nm to 7nm is the socket going to change with it? Amd promised atleast 4 years with am4 socket but u cant always trust the manufacturers

They wont. AMD promised to use these chipsets up till 2020.

 

It's not necessary to change either. Desktop broadwell processors (i7-5775C and i5-5675C are 14nm chips on Z9x chipset)

I'm not sure why you'd expect people on this forum to have some secret knowledge about amd's roadmap that they haven't already said publicly. Regardless, I don't see any reason why the socket would change just because of the manufacturing process changing. The socket is not tied to the NM in any way. Look at lga 775 for example. It went from 90NM right down to 45NM over a few years. If amd says it'll stay, there's a good change it'll stay.
