cpu core/cache voltage locked @3.6

Hello!

I recently got a new cooler and wanted to overclock my cpu (i7-6700K)

so i went to the cpu core/cache voltage to set it to manual and saw it was already set to 1,36

but then i changed it to manual and set the voltage ovveride to 1.350 and the core voltage was still 1,36

also under stress test it passes up to 1.4v at max even when i set it to 1.35

so i saw this guide with this image that have a way different core voltage

Overclocking-The-Core-i7-6700K-to-4.6GHz

so my question is: it normal for me to have 3.6 instead of 1.280? i cant change the core/cache at all and i just wanted to test this specific guide out and this is all thats bumming me out :(

Sorry for bad english

EDIT: My motherboard is asus maximus viii extreme

So nobody can tell me why my bios says CPU Core/Cachee voltag 3.60v instead of the CPU Core/Cachee voltag 1.280v as in the pic?

I don't know. If it it was at 3.60v then it would probably be dead by now.

o sorry i meant 1.36v at standard when the guide says 1.28 but however i set it to manually 1.35

just wondering why the standard volt is 1.36

it depends on which LLC you use

Don't buy Apple M1 computers with 8GB of RAM
