EVGA SuperNOVA G2 650 cables

Do i only need to install cables that i'll only need?

 

I have a Gigabyte GTX 1080 Windforce and it has only an 8 pin connector, so i only need one GPU cable right?

Yes, with modular PSUs, you only need to use the cables you need. The rest can be stored away somewhere outside of the case for if you need them in the future or if something happens to the other cables you can swap them in.

Yes. Only use the cables you actually need. Modular PSUs are built that way to reduce cable clutter from unused cables.
