Why do you need dedicated graphics then? The Intel iGPU works quite well for lighter titles.

At your current budget, there isn't much choice with basic GPU (like the MX 150). There's HP Pavilion Power 15t that costs $760 but has i5-7300HQ (Quad-core), 8GB DDR4 RAM, 1TB 7200rpm HDD and a GTX 1050 (significantly better than MX 150), you can check from HP website (http://store.hp.com/us/en/pdp/hp-pavilion-power---quad-w--2gb-gfx-touch-optional-1gk62av-1). I found one AMD-based laptop that is priced similar to the Acer's (http://www.microcenter.com/product/481825/Inspiron_15_5576_156_Gaming_Laptop_Computer_-_Black) but using slightly old CPU and GPU. The RX 460 mobile version is slightly better than MX 150, but draws more power though.
