try a different browser. Otherwise the thing you are downloading can't handle your speeds

Okay, so, welcome to the world of IT. You've just become a technician.

 

Step one: Eliminate variables

 

How do you do this? By testing FF, Opera, IE/Edge, etc.

 

Frankly, diagnosing the issue means sometimes you have to use a browser you don't like using.

 

Go try IE/Edge, and also download Firefox and try that.

 

Tell us the results.

Even if it were, that'd still be pretty slow. 0.3 MB/s is roughly 300 KB/s. 300 KB/s converted into Mbps is around 37 Mbps. Not terrible, but not great for 120 Mbps connection.

158 Kbps or 158 KB/s.

 

Kbps = Kilobits per second

KB/s = Kilobytes per second

 

The difference is extremely important in this context.
