Hi guys!

Just a quick question for you...

Which combination do you think is going to be the most silent one?

MX RED + O-RINGS

or

MX BROWN + O-RINGS

I have heavy hands and i always bottom-out the keys. Annoying as hell for the people around me :P

So yeah... O-rings is kind of a must... LOL

Thank you guys!!!

Both are pretty dang loud.

You should probably change the title to "MX Red vs Brown Noise [Poll]"  or something. It would be more accurate and help more people click what they actually know about.

What keyboard?

Reds would be the quieter out of the two though.

What features are urging you to buy the claymore, the numpad?

The thing is that for that kind of money you can have a much, much better keyboard like VA68M, KBP V80, FC750RT or Ducky One TKL. Just give them a look.

The ability to google properly is a skill of its own.

I know that this may be asking a lot (and is quite expensive) but if you really love the feel and sound of a different switch then there's no harm is buying a whole new set of switches to replace them down the line.

LTT has made a video guide on how to replace them a while back and it isn't that complicated.

However this is your call and I can understand if you don't want to spend the pain and effort just to change a key switch.

i dont know what people are talking about with both being loud?

neither one has an audible noise unless you're botteming out the keys/typing like you're mad at the keyboard.

i think red's with the o'ring would technically make less noise. but they are both quiet if you learn how to type.

reds feel gross though, go with browns
