IMO , it's fine . Gpu is comparable to an rx 570 with more ram . If you're not limited by that storage amount , then it's probably ok . But any gpu more powerful than that and you're starting to run into territory where you need an i7 or an r5 1600 , because that quad core may be at it's limits depending on the game.

Looks pretty average, and at least in the winter you don't need a heater for your legs with that card.

Ah yes, that'd definitely be why.

It's not always a bad thing. I loved my GTX 480 for it's heating characteristics :P
