And I will have gotten 2 1080 TI

It's not that big of a diffrence because it gives negligable returns There's also nothing you can do in 4k right now. Everything is pretty much still at 1440p My life

Obduction, Mass Effect: Andromeda, Overwatch, CS:GO, Squad, Windows 10, Microsoft Word, Adobe Lightroom & Photoshop, the list is limited only by your imagination... and perhaps wallet. His can't run any of those at 4K.Except CS:GO,and if he plays that game he should grab a 25 inch 1440p 144hz My life
 Obduction can be run at 4K with a low of 57fps. ME:A can be run at 4K with a low of 36fps. Squad can be run at 4K with a low of 35fps. The rest are not framerate-dependent and only truly limited by the refresh rate of the display. Posted August 23, 2017 If you are going to upgrade and got the cash go for the highest stuff. he's bound to upgrade his gpu and cpu eventually to take advantage of the monitor so its a safe bet. As far as i remember, most people only upgrade their monitors when they die so 4k all the way!
 Posted August 23, 2017 No, go ahead, 1080TI SLI will kill any game out there. I'm just saying that earlier because the other replies gave me the impression your hardware was on the low end. Posted August 23, 2017 If money's no object then go for it, me I don't see the point of running 4k as to me it's a waste of money as the cost does not out weigh the slight upgrade u get from 1440p to 4k and yes I have used 4k on a freinds rig running 2 strix 1080 ti's and the improvement wasn't all that but like I say it's your choice, any decent high end moniter will be good I7 7700K @5.0ghz, Asus Z270-P, Corsair H115i, hyperX 16gb, Asus duel 1070, Nzxt H440 https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/ZTsYD8
 Except maybe Ghost Recon wildlands But like the difference is not as big as 720p and 1440p.The better idea would be to get a 1440p monitor that is bigger or have better colors My life
