Nope, I just want a motherboard to put my cpu in, no special features or overclocking wanted.

then this is enough

given ur choice of 1080p 144hz monitor, I would say 1080 is more future proof if you still really want 120+ fps in 3-4 years.

Hello, I really want this to be around $1500 with the monitor, or lower, was wondering if there was a way to trim the price down a bit like say, I had some unnecessary things, etc.

Do you absolutely need the 1080 or would a 1070 do? That would probably drop you in the range you're looking for right there.

I mean, depends on price per performance, if the 1080 has more PPP than yes, a 1080.

If you can get a white and black 1070, that'd be awesome, and would probably choose that if put with a nice white and black build. :P

Galax HOF, MSI Artic, MSI Dual, plastidip.

drop the motherboard for something cheaper unless there is something you desperatly need on it, its not X370 so i see no reason to get a $125 motherboard

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

especially when there is a $100 x370 board, to pay that much for a b350 is silly, just don't buy the cheapest b350 that are only rated for 65 watt tdp chips.

Here I got you under 1600 by swapping out your motherboard and PSU to ones that are perfectly fine https://pcpartpicker.com/list/pQB8NN

only way to get under 1500 is to lower down to a 1070
