Tampermonkey is totally safe, have been using it for years with no problem.

 

Now the scripts you run with it...

It's like asking "is torrenting safe?". You can download a lot of legitimate legal software there, but you can also run into software ridden with malware if you don't take any precautions.

You would be better off asking "is script x I downloaded off the internet and intend on running safe?"

yeah i read through the script knowing limited knowledge on programming and it seemed ok

Oh... Take the advice from @RadiatingLight and use saveitoffline.com. If you prefer you can take @Minibois advice and use tampermonkey, but just make sure you have an antivirus installed and be careful

uuu i think you need to talk to the legal team at LTT because i don't think that its against youtube rolse to download youtube videos
