Hehehe that's just how tech is, nowadays is quite silly believe a high end motherboard in any chipset will give you all amazing future proof, if it reaches a second gen at all you're already profiting hard xD

 

Don't you worry though I can assure you the jump will be huge, you'll simply double the amount of threads your i5 has right now, get a huge boost in frequency too and over all the i7 7700 silicon is simply much more clean than the i5 7400.

 

You'll see it won't fail you being realistic how far you can expect from a mainstream computer before going HEDT.

Ive got an RX 480 4gb. Just got this prebuilt and im really regretting it

 

CPU is always at 90% in games so i figured i'd upgrade. I knew i shouldve gone with Ryzen

As for your original question, yes the four sticks of ram will work at 2133. You probably won't be able to get them running at 2400 with a simple xmp profile though.

That seems quite high for a 480. Have you checked to see if there are any background tasks using up your CPU?

Well my CPU is an i5 7400, but yeah i have Razer chroma, logitech gaming, discord, and skype.

Check task manager to see if anything is using up a ton of your CPU, since 90% does seem a bit high unless you're playing particularly CPU intensive titles.

Oh. Pubg is relatively CPU heavy so that makes sense. 

 

If you wanna take some load off the CPU you could turn up settings or AA a bit. Unless you're noticing frame drops or stuttering though it shouldn't warrant an upgrade.

I am getting a lot of stuttering (on high) seems like i get less lag on lower settings..?

PUBG is early access and they haven't fine-tuned it enough. I wouldn't upgrade for one game, to be honest, but if you have to, go 7700K.
