Hello,

I recently put together a new AMD based PC, and want to know if I've done a good job, does the cable management/aesthetic look fine? Is there anything really wrong with it or is it okay? Any opinions would be very welcome.

Thanks very much for any opinions.

EDIT:

My full specs are

Ryzen 5 1600

MSi B350 Tomahawk Arctic

2x4GB HyperX Fury 2666Mhz (yes I am planning on upgrading to 16)

My old EVGA GTX 980 Classified

Samsung 960 Evo 256GB

AMD Radeon R3 240GB

Seagate Barracuda 1TB

Thermaltake Smart Pro RGB 750W

Corsair 460X

I see no issues... looks great!

Edit: Ok i lied. Only thing that could trigger my OCD is the non-matching rear exhaust fan/top fan.

Flawless work, can't see anything wrong with it.

Make sure to post your PC specifications.

Thank you very much, sir. I just edited in the full specs, the post was mostly about aesthetics but I understand some people may be curious.

Thanks.

Are you sure you meant rear, and not the top red exhaust, cause that's what makes my OCD go nuts, but I can't bare to throw out an AF140.....

nothing major, but I would probably have gotten a different PSU and maybe a Asus or AsRock board instead of the MSI, but this is really small things.

Other than that it looks like a fairly solid system and it is BLUE. Oh boy it is a while since I have seen such a blue system :D Thanks for throwing me back to those days :D

Before you buy amp and dac.  My thoughts on the M50x  Ultimate Ears Reference monitor review I might have a thing for audio...

My main Headphones and IEMs:  K612 pro, HD 25 and Ultimate Ears Reference Monitor, HD 580 with HD 600 grills

DAC and AMP: RME ADI 2 DAC

Speakers: Genelec 8040, System Audio SA205

Receiver: Denon AVR-1612

Desktop: R7 1700, GTX 1080  RX 580 8GB and other stuff

Laptop: ThinkPad P50: i7 6820HQ, M2000M. ThinkPad T420s: i7 2640M, NVS 4200M

Feel free to pm me if you have a question for me or quote me. If you want to hear what I have to say about something just tag me.

The PSU is actually not bad, I know Thermaltake have some really sketchy PSUs but their more recent stuff isn't half bad. JonnyGuru's review of this unit was fairly positive and where I live it's considerably cheaper than equivalent units from Corsair, BeQuiet, Seasonic etc.

I know the board is eh, has mediocre power delivery and PCI slots cause Ryzen + PCI makes total sense. But it has a white PCB, and I'd make a lot of trade offs to get that.

Anyways thanks a lot regardless, man.

I refered to your RGB lights inside your case. I would make them green or yellow rather than blue. But that's just my taste.

Oh, I change the lights around all the time. I am a big blue fan though makes it look like the PC is very cool (as in cold) and that helps my OCD.

I understand, we all got our preferences, but you gotta admit there is something about having an RGB PSU, I mean it's so absurd, like peak level "RGB ALL THE THINGS!!!1!"

Btw I'm really new to PCs I've only been into PCMR for about a year or so, was blue very popular back in the day?

blue was like THE color in the early 2000s. Well, I am personally not a fan of RGB, I just set my GPU, mobo and CPU cooler RGB stuff to white....

Wow, considering how little blue accented hardware is available nowadays, I guess most people really grew tired of it.

Yea, I agree on the RGB. I am also not a fan of RGB things that always glow in RGB, I've set my PSU to just white as seen in the pic.

colors come and go, there were a couple of years where everything was black and red, now RGB is in.

I think all white or close to all white builds were really big last year

Yea, when I got into PC building there were tons of all white builds all over Youtube. Probably the reason why most new mobos have so many white PCBs.

My first custom PC was back in the blue days, my second was in the black and red and now my thread is in the RGB area. Though I have made PCs for other people in the other areas.

The plus side to white is that it works great with RGB :D

How many PCs have you built?

Definitely, white reflects any color you shine on it and matches with pretty much anything that's why I tried so hard to get a white mobo.
