ASUS Maximus VI Hero automatically boots to BIOS

So i've just built my first computer, but it always boots to the BIOs. When i have the windows 8 installation disc in it, it boots to the first step of windows installation all the time. :( PLEASE HELP THANK YOUU

I would format the drive and reset bios to defaults. Then try reinstall. Hope this helps

Have you changed your boot order to see if there is an OS in your HDD first?

Yeah i have changed my boot priority to my hard drive. But it still boots to the Bios. Uhm, is it possible to format my drive in the BIOS?

are you sure you didnt plug the power button wire to directkey slot near front panel connector slot

boot priority should be on your installation disk if you havent installed it yet

u can format your drive in the windows installation

OK problem solved. I shld've selected the custom windows installation rather than the other option (all these due to my stupidity and i know all of you guys reading this would face palm). THANK YOU GUYS FOR YOUR HELP! I'm so sorry for the trouble :(
