How long till upgrade

So i dont know if this is in the right section but my build consists of

-Intel core I5 6500

-Gtx 1050ti

-8gb DDR4 RAM
 

How long before i will have to upgrade to a new CPU, GPU, RAM etc?

I will be wanting to play at 1080p 60fps preferably above medium settings.

I converted from Xbox one to Pc cause i thought i would be able to run everything that could but this i not the case (for example Forza Horizon 3) How come??

Forza horizon 3 has a recommendation of a GTX 1060 or Rx 480 for 1080p. Your 1050 to will probably only do medium-high (dunno how well optimized the game is). The 6500 will last you for a while, 8GBs is still plenty for most games but adding in more RAM is like 60$ and 5 minutes. The GPU is probably the weakest link in your build.

so do you think ill be able to play big titles for a few years on med-high settings

The build is fine, pretty similar to mine and I'm happy with mine. Perhaps a stronger GPU would be nice but it's really not necessary. 8gb of RAM will be fine for a while

Forza Horizon 3 was a less-than-stellar PC port.  It has come a long way since launch, but is still unrealistically demanding.  Have you tried Gears of War 4?  Now that's a great port

CPU and RAM is fine, your GPU could use an upgrade IMO.
It´s usually the GPU that holds one back. As for how long an upgrade will last depends what GPU you would jump to.

Not sure. However a cheap upgrade to like a 1060 would improve performance a lot
