Hello!

I'm wondering what the Linus Tech Tips community uses for taking screenshots as it'll be a good way of gathering data for a project I'm working on. So if you don't mind by picking which you use, thanks!

If I missed any out, feel free to post and I'll add it to the poll, thanks for helping me!

What software for screenshots? I personally use Windows 10 ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Lightshot master race! I used to print screen and paste into mspaint, then I upgraded to snipping tool, those options just suck compared.

I just press Print Screen Shoot on my keyboard and later cut it in Paint :P

 

In-game I use ShadowPlay.

I like Gyzao a lot for specific corners, and when I want a full screen shot, I just press Print Screen.

Gyzao can make gifs too. (I have no idea if other screenshotting software also does that but just a nice touch.)

Yes, ShareX has gif potential along with some recording potential.
