Trying to build a new computer for my mother.

So I'm in a conundrum. I want to build a nice cheap computer for my mother. (she is insisting on the cheap part). All she does is play solitaire, some Microsoft puzzle games, watch a ton of YouTube and Skype a bunch.

So of course I figured this would be a perfect opportunity to do a Ryzen Threadripper build, but unfortunately my mom insists on the cheap part, So I tried, I ended up with the below list.

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/WXFWQV

Unfortunately, even that is too expensive for her. I just want her computer to be super fast and do all her stuff fast and easy, without any lag or wait time. Is there any chance I can make it into a Ryzen build or do I have to go Intel Pentium or something and build something a bit dated?

Thanks.

a G4560 rig is enough, no need to go for a ryzen 3 build.

No need for Ryzen. No need for. A dedicated GPU. No need for a $65 case. No need for a Gold rated PSU.

Spend the extra $30 for 8GB RAM instead if you want but 4GB is fine. Since this is just a basic system for your mother to use, youd honestly be better off buying a pre-built if you can find one for $250ish with a half decent CPU with 4 threads(maybe an old i3/i5) and preferably an SSD.

Why do you want Ryzen? It's completely useless. Honestly, you could probably do just find with a dual core Pentium.

To make thing even cheaper I would go second hand, might be able to get a good Q6600/6700 processor for a lot less, about £23

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

Seeing a lot of H110 boards being recommended but please keep in mind that some of these boards will need a BIOS update to work with G4650 and you need a skylake CPU to do the BIOS update.
