Does the AMD Ryzen 5 1600 work on the MSI Intel Skylake H110 Mother board

I'm thinking of getting the AMD Ryzen 5 1600 and, as the title implies, I was wondering if the MSI Gaming Intel Skylake H110 LGA was compatible with the processor and cooler. Thanks!

I don't mean to bother you but do you know how to find a motherboard that is compatible?

You can use a site like PCPartPicker to find a compatible AM4 socket motherboard for your Ryzen Processor.

use sites like pc part picker, chipset like B350m or x370 is comparable.

If it has intel in the name of the motherboard, why would it be compatible..? And why are you posting this exact thing in two different subforums?

Use PCPartPicker. It has a auto compatibility filter, and searches a bunch of websites to get you the lowest price.

But to answer your question no.

all the methods they suggested just do it for you withought you actually learning anything. when you pick a cpu and motherboard there's 2 things to pay attention to what socket it is amd for example has am3 am3+ am4 and tr4 and intel sockets look like this lga 1150 lga 1151 lga 1150 when you look up a cpu it will say what socket it is built for

the other thing to look for is the chipset for example the both the 6700k and the 7700k both use lga1151 but a 7700k wont work on a z170 board unless you first use a 6xxx cpu to update its bios. though a 6700k will work a z270 you can check on the motherboard manufacturers website to check if its compatible. you can look up all the chip sets to check the compatibilities. what chipset it has tends to be in the motherboard names

ASUS Z170-A Socket 1151 Intel Z170 Chipset

ASUS H170M-PLUS/CSM Socket 1151 Intel H170 Chipset

MSI B150 GAMING M3 Socket 1151 Intel B150 Chipset
or for amd

ASUS Prime A320M-A AMD Ryzen AM4 mATX

MSI B350M MORTAR Socket AM4 AMD B350 Chipset

ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR VI EXTREME Socket AM4 AMD X370 Chipset

different chipsets have different features you can check them out on intel ark or amds site
