Need help with OHMs

HyperPanda

Hey guys so I'm thinking about getting some beyerdynamic dt990 pros and I'm having an issue with OHMs. The best deal is the 250 OHM pro and I'm not sure if I can use it with an iPod. I'll be using them for my laptop and for my iPod so I'm not sure if they can handle them or what. My laptop is macbook air 2013. -Thanks

Most people would would say they are too high for a portable device. More to do with battery life than SQ although for 250ohm you'd notice lower volume levels.

For 250 Ohms you will need an amp.
