So people know my AMD PC died and i'm on x58 for now.

 

Thought i had the X5670, it's an E series quad core.

 

How about a tasty overclock?

 

Quick and dirty, 1.38v CPU voltage, QPI volts at 1.39v

Memory is over spec running at 1660mhz CL8!!!!! this is 1600mhz CL11 rated kit at 1660 CL8... lol.

 

Check up time, temps and achieved speed in Core Temp.

 

It seems i broke windows and CPU-Z's capabilities of seeing higher clocks though?

That was caused by that 8 year old PSU not overclocking lol.

4C/8T at 4.3Ghz aint bad at all. Keep it cool and you should be fine, although I think my X5680 has developed an issue resulting in occasional BSOD. Might tune it back to 3.5Ghz to be safe.

Thought you might like this, hope you like some of my editing work lol.. it's pretty basic but should work for DOOM.

I can run my Fury through Timespy or Firestrike at 1125mhz but gaming will always make it crash without error and i find the card back to factory clocks.

That is strange. I have custom fan curve, bios with higher power limit and also use trixx ultra to set 1.31v. 

 

I really need to get hbm voltage as well but trixx ui doesn't have a tab for it so I would have to set it in after burner and I cba :P

Perhaps i should use Trixx, MSI and Wattman fail at overclocking the memory and overclocks don't seem to run stable on stock volts on either bios.

The stock voltage is probably too low to run 1125mhz on your card. 1.25v on stock bios in trixx should give you 1100/525 minimum.

In Wattman try adjusting the voltage in the highest 4 P-states to all have the same value for example 1.25V. So only the frequency changes not the voltage when the card downclocks. 

 

That should improve stability.
