The Athlon X2 wasn't even that great in its day. An R5 1400 would be leaps and bounds ahead of that old POS.

That motherboard doesn't have a BIOS update to even support Kaby Lake, as is the case for every H110 board right now because board manufacturers are more concerned about Ryzen and X299 as well as the upcoming X399.

The H110 platform was new with Skylake. Thought an i5 7400 would fit in the socket just fine and would theoretically work if you updated the BIOS, I can't name a single H110 board that has a BIOS update to support Kaby Lake.

so the corsair cx430 any good? would it fry the whole pc?

No, for a 1050 Ti it would be totally fine.
