Should I wait for VEGA 56 or buy cheap graphic board today?

Just now, noobee said:

yes, there are a lot of 3D porn games these days. I got those ads a lot on my Google Chrome, and closed them all right away when I saw them.

There is no way to tell and it makes no difference to the graphics card

Why would that matter?  Videocards aren't capable of being used to store data that could go from one computer to another.

It's not about the data, but it's about the sin that the board has committed in processing 3D porn stuffs.

Not sure if troll or not, but your GPU isn't going to have any of those downloads. That's all hard drive.

I mean if you're into being part of the PCMR, you're going to forever face the struggle of aging parts. If you wait for Volta, I'm sure something else will be announced to come out later and so on. I'd just get something, sit on it until volta comes out and go from there if you really want.

Also wat.

Volta is from NVIDIA... NVIDIA is bad according to Linus

Is that legal?

I  think: If it wasn't site would've been down ages ago. Its been there like forever. I never had problems. I heard/read others did, but mostly with steamgames. Not 100% sure if its legal :p. Maybe i should delete my reaction...

Buy a 1050 ti and wait for Volta. It's only 6-8 months away.

this is the dumbest shit ive seen all day. two thirds of a year is a long time, especially in the graphics card market, and a 1050ti is pretty shit and quite frankly a waste of money.

as for the OPs question, get a vega 56. current benchmarks put it a significant amount above a 1070 for a great price. it is the new price to performance king.

because windows is too expensive.. more than $100 for an OS? It's the only OS that comes with a price today. and the editions, Home, Pro, etc, confuse me for which one to get.

That's if I use NVIDIA I suppose? as the creator of linux hates NVIDIA look at the video I posted a while ago.

Because you're paying a shit ton for an Apple product which isn't worth it so yeah they give you something free. If you buy a pre built PC it comes with Windows so it therefore is free. You can't just buy OSX or MacOS or whatever name its being called these days. For whatever reason you want enthusiast grade parts without spending money on them which isn't going to happen.

i5 6600k @ 4.4ghz on Hyper 212 Evo

Powercolor RX 480 8Gb Red Devil @1330Mhz

Bottom line:  Don't be a spaz or an 800lb gorilla when installing your expensive CPU, and you won't have any problems. --Phate.exe

I also pay for the good design that Apple made. With own built PC, you can't ever get Apple's body aesthetic. The current PC cases in the market are mostly ugly and cheap looking. Except for the new windows laptops, and tablets, they are getting better looking compared to Apple.

Apple said MacOSX is free from years ago? How can Windows be free? It says $199. check this, https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/store/d/windows-10-pro/DF77X4D43RKT/48DN?icid=Cat-Windows-mosaic_linknav-Pro-051717-en_US

You're probably using the illegal one for free.

I don't have a prebuilt PC bud. I have a legit key. Accusing me of piracy is funny though. If you buy a prebuilt computer, whether it be a Mac or Windows, you get an OS with it that is included in the price. To buy it after the fact, it does cost money.

NVIDIA is bad according to Linus because they're hard to work with. It doesn't mean anything related to NVIDIA and Linux automatically sucks.

I mean, I hear the AMD camp is also lacking in decent software support on Linux, so pick your poison.

There's an open source unofficial driver called radeon

No because they only went back as far as Windows 7 and only for a limited time. You missed out on it. You aren't really getting MacOS for free either if you think you are. You pay a premium price for minimal performance difference compared to a PC that is cheaper. All for your aesthetics which don't mean shit compared to the use of the computer.
