Noob looking for help for bottlenecking

Hey I have an intel Xeon E51630 v3 wich has 4 cores and 8 threads @3.70GHz and I was wondering if I got a 1080 or 1080ti of the CPU would bottleneck it. Thanks for the help

if you're playing at 1080p with a 1080Ti, then yes, but you shouldn't be buying a 1080Ti for anything close to 1080p gaming.

I assume you'll be playing at, at the very least, 1440p, and it shouldn't bottleneck there.
