Engineering sample CPUs? Should I buy one?

Long story short, unless it's from a known good source, I wouldn't gamble on one. That's if you put aside the ethical questions about owning one in the first place.

It's not like I would be hurting anyone by buying one... It's not like Intel would want it back.
