it's just some guy making systems in his bedroom, and using the cheapest cases, PSUs, and motherboards possible to make the headline features stand out, but that guy doesn't know the world of hurt he's entered, as he HAS to offer warranty support for 2 years and support against faults, malfunctions, and defects for 5 years, good old consumer protection laws.

gotta turn a profit, run the numbers to build those machines, it's not horrible considering you need to make money. the only real issue is the H110 mobo's and stock heatsinks on K skew processors

really? I've never heard of someone building and selling machines on a DIY scale having to offer a warranty and support.

That's exactly what Apple does, they take advantage of mass unawareness, and taking advantage of someone who's unaware of something can be considered fraud. Considering the scale and prices of these things, he can get hit very hard by US federal regulatory laws, especially since there's no sales tax on them.

they got the sales tax when he bought the parts originally.

That doesn't matter. He's reselling it as a complete computer for profit, which is untaxed by the government in his state. He is one report away from going to jail for felony tax evasion.

didn't see that there were a US seller, as OP's link had it in GBP, but it looks like a business account rather than a private seller, and i'm not sure of the US consumer protection laws, but if they were in an EU country, only private sellers are exempt from having warranties.

*Updated OP*

based on your NEW updated OP I did my best to match the specs and due to current pricing on parts being crazy I had to chose the ONLY Founders 1080ti I could find (which is selling 150 above normal right now

here is the PC Part Picker for that referenced screen shot https://pcpartpicker.com/list/zHTmM8

I went with the 212 cooler because I couldn't find a similar intel cooler and thats about the price of an intel cooler, RAM would likely add another 140 to that number and between 30 (on Kinquin) to 120 if buying from Microsoft for the Windows license, that would add up to 260 on top of the 1460 after rebates for $1720, what was that listing listed for?
