ASUS FX502VM. How to tell if its TN or IPS.

Go to solution Solved by CyberneticTitan,

Google search tells me that

Asus FX502VM-AS73 is TN

Asus FX502VM-AH51 is IPS

So I'm looking for a laptop, and I'm considering getting one that can game a bit depending on if I can get a decently priced IPS one with decent specs(which seems unlikely). I looked up this ASUS, and find it can come with an IPS display or a crappy TN display, but looking at sellers online I cant tell which it has. I'm assuming its TN unless stated otherwise, but I was wondering if there is some product number I can look up that will definitively say.

A product number would probably be a good way to go.  It's fairly common for retailers to have mistakes in the listed specs, especially if there are multiple, very similar models of something out there, but hopefully the exact product number will tell you what it really is.

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

Thanks. You're a better googler than me.
