1Going to build a pc a week later

Here is my list:

Ryzen 7 1700X

32gb ddr4 3200mhz

Crosshair vi hero

Asus strix 1080Ti x2

500gb ssd

4tb hdd

+a few rgb fans and rgb light strips

How much voltage do I need for that?

Is 1000w enough for my build?

Which psu should I get?

Yes 850w is fine it's around 700w on normal usage.

I have 2 Maxwell TITAN X running on 850w just fine, no need for 1000w if you're sticking to just 1 HDD.

IMO i do not reccomend SLI, for what do you want the 2nd card for? What is the use case for this system?

1000W is enough and is what I would personally get for a dual 1080 Ti system if I wanted to overclock. That said, what are you buying two GPUs for? 4K 144Hz or something? What 1000W units are you looking at?

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

250w for the GPU, 100W for the CPU, maybe 20W for the MB/HDD/RAM?

you'd throw 1000W at that? puh-lease...

did not see dual. that's probably just right for efficiency.

Get 1k as you won't be riding the limit. Also won't have to hear the psu fan as much.

Id get corsair first then evga. Depends on the quality of the sleeved at that point.

which psu is better

Cooler master 1000v

Corsair AX1000i

Evga supernova 1000 P2

Depending on budget i would look into getting a Seasonic PRIME Titanium 1kW, failing that, a Corsair AX1000i would probably be the best choice, although all three of those units are great.
