Is there a way to make Photoshop hotkeys need only one key?

I hate that I need to move my hand from its usual resting position to just zoom in. In Krita, I can just zoom in with R, and zoom out with E. In Photoshop, though, they require that I hold Ctrl THEN press a key, which is just a huge pain in my ass because I WANT to use Photoshop for drawing - it has better performance over Krita - but I'm able to work so much faster with Krita thanks to the more-intuitive controls.

I know I could just install a hotkey software and run it while I use Photoshop, but then if I want to, say, respond to a message in Discord, I'll need to disable it and re-enable it afterwards, which, again, is a huge pain in my ass.

AFAIK autohotkey has ability to relate to certain software or at least active window.
