With $100 you might just about manage to find a Mac Pro 1,1 and two quad core Xeons for it. Bam! You'd have not just six, but eight cores! Boot Camp Windows 10 if your friend is already Hackintoshing Ryzen and thereby also took macOS out of the picture (that's pretty much what I imagine this to be about, besting a friend without any clue how computers work). It's eight RAM slots also ought to beat anything any of your friends has!

Do something like what I have. Get a LGA 1366 Xeon, or if you wanna bump it up a LGA 2011 Xeon, plenty of cores, plenty of speed.

 

It's really pretty btw.

Using H.265 it actually does use all of them. I'm making a indepth comparison video about it soon.

Intel S2600CP4 it's SSI EEB, and it's 12" x 13". Things massive. Compare that to having a mini itx board in that case.
