I want a 6+ core build no ryzen

no I don't want ryzen tryna save as much as $ as I can was thinking of a cheap dell oem lga 1366 board and a 6 core xeon or somethin also another idea is gettin a supermicro board and hookin up 2x quadcore xeons. I ain't planing on gaming I live in US and my budget is $100 i know well that u can get some used parts  like some server hardware and get it under that budget

What country you in?

As example, in Australia it is impossible to find what you are asking for, much better saving up more money but why do you need 6 core?

I just want them and i'm selling my main rig so I need something when I don't have it. and perhaps i'll even throw in a GPU later down the line.

I currently have 2 LGA 1366 systems, my main rn is an X5660 xeon @ 4.71GHz, gets about 960-1040 in cinebench r15, my dual xeon X5660 @ stock boost speeds gets 1260, so that's up to you.

There will be low-end i5 Coffee Lake CPU's just saying. You could go with a XEON E5-1650. They are around $90 on eBay.

well, I'd much rather have a 4790k than 6 cores that are much slower, just my opinion tho.

unless your CPU is at max load, it's not worth it. But hey, if you wanna trade that 4790k + mobo for my x5660 + mobo (sabertooth X58) I'd gladly do so.
