Cheapest copper 280mm Radiator

I'm wondering if anyone knows of a source for a cheap (less than $50) copper 280mm radiator.

Thanks,

Alec

Just depends on what kind of rad your looking for here is one for around that pricepoint.

Why copper. It's worse at thermal dissipation to air unless you're using very high CFM.

Because I'm not mixing aluminum and copper parts :P

I have this rad and it works well for my loop.  Along with their 360mm rad as well, my loop stays a good temp while playing.

CPU: 5900X   MOBO: MSI Tomahawk x570
MEM: G.Skill 32gb (2 x 16gb) 3600
GPU: Asus tuf oc 3080

May add the other bits of my system later on

the reason I'm buying a 280mm rad is to upgrade my corsair hydro H100i GTX without buying a whole new cooler or making a custom loop.

I don't think you can swap out the radiator on that unit.

I'll just pull of the pipes, it's already happening with one.

But you need fittings to go into the radiator. Fittings that will have to fit the tubing diameter exactly and that support G1/4 threading to screw into the rad.

That's why this thread exists:

It's not designed to do that, while it's possible with some modding it's not recommended. If you do want to attempt it be sure to use a suitable fluid inside the loop.

I have some Mayhems pastel fluid lying around somewhere, I'll just use that.

I wouldn't suggest to use pastel since it can potentially clog if it settles out especially with a lower powered pump in an AIO. A transparent fluid like X1 or ethylene glycol based like what was orginally in there would be my suggestion if you want to give it a go.

Could I also just buy some biocide and add it to DI or pure water?

Yes since it will be an all copper loop that will work, however your going to want to flush the loop clean of the old fluid and keep an eye on it just in case as it was previously a mixed metal loop. I don't think it will cause a problem once it's been changed over but doesn't hurt to be safe.
