Does dual monitors effect performance

overturnedv1

so I have a gaming laptop, but the screen is only 60hz. So I bought a nexeus  vue24, and I was wondering if I could use the nexeus  as my main, and the laptop as a side. Would I be able to, per say run a game on the nexeus , and then have a video, or discord open in the other tab without fps drops? In other words would i be able to do the same things just with 2 monitors without fps drops, or would simply having both monitors running make it lag behind?

My laptop has a gtx 1060 and an i7 6700hq, the specific model is the gigabyte p55w v6

There is not an issue with performance and dual displays, non what so ever.
