If you want a tiny bezel get the Xiaomi Mi Mix

I saw a review on that, and was quite fond of it at first. My issues with it at that it runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow rather than Nougat, and it is quite a large phone.

What SoC is it running again?

Im looking at the horses mouth, not resellers. They can have a special deal rn but the MSRP is a lot higher than an iPhone's.

Ok but in reality no one buys from the actual store, everyone wants to buy for the best deal...?

No one is going to buy a S8 for $700-800 when you can buy it from a third party reseller that has the exact phone for cheaper, Plus Manufacture and Third party warrenty.

Same goes for iphones, Except on third party websites, they are much more expensive for some reason lmao

SD 821, clock speed, storage, ram will depend on the model.

It is then down to the same pros and cons for me as with the LG G6. They're great phones for last year, but with the 835 out...

I guess I'm being quite picky considering I don't really use my phone for much other than general productivity and social media. What do you guys think, how long would a Snapdragon 821 be good for compared to an 835?

Ok?

My point is where ever you can get a certain phone for cheaper, then go for it, even if its a iphone 7, a fantastic device.

I've got nothing against iphones, its just that you saying the S8 is more expensive as of right now is invalid.

You're waiting for The pixel 2, which is most likely Q4 of 2017

You might as well wait for the xiaomi Mi mix 2, Essential phone, and Iphone 8. Which will all hopefully be announced/ or out/ By end of 2017 or early 2018

No not really, its only inaccurate for those specific websites with that specific sale.

The MSRP is higher so the S8 is factually more expensive, the fact that there's a few deals rn doesn't change that.

It kinda is, B&H is taking a hit to get them that low. And that still doesn't change the MSRP.

Why would a huge company forcefully take a hit to get them "that low" that doesn't sound like a smart decision to me.

And I will say again, B&H has had S8's in the $600 range for a while. it wasn't just weeks or random scare deals. its been months..

I have been stalking their prices ever since it came out because I was looking to grab one.

Final conclusion seems to be to wait for the GP 2 and other next-generation phones unless a good deal for the S8 is encountered?

So more people will buy them to offset the hit for lowering the price of the phones. It moves stock.

This is how price drops work in capitalism.

I didn't say they are losing money, just that they are taking a hit so they can move more units.

This doesn't change the fact that prices has been $600 for a while..?

Their only "Deal" here is the one that was linked by the Android Police article On the groupon sale.

And dude, I just checked B&H....they are the same MSRP! They are $725! They are only cheaper if you get the international variant which only works with GSM networks for $640, the NA version costs more and so do the Duos.

Those are two different models from the one I linked and the one you linked.

The one you linked is the Snapdragon model, and the other one is a Exynos Variant, which is still useable on american carriers.

Also to mention both units do not support CDMA
