How can I do?

I had my windows activated (legally) prior to upgrading to ryzen and now its not, so after having them take control of my PC they got rid of my old code from my PC and never gave me a new one.... so now its inactivated and have no one to help me. Any way to do this? The legal/lying boundaries for me are pushed farther back considering they got rid of my old code and I never got a new one to activate windows... any suggestions? I know the accessibility thing is an option but I think thats an upgrade for 7/8

Do you have your old key anywhere? You should if you bought it legally.

It was originally a volume key for 8 and then when I upgraded to 10 I think it changed the key. So I have to original 8 volume key but not sure about the key that was for 10.

You needed to do this before changing your PC: https://www.windowscentral.com/how-re-activate-windows-10-after-hardware-change

Now it's too late and your key is lost.

You will need to beg Microsoft to activate it for you or you will need to buy another yourself.

I'm not sure how Volume licenses applies here. I'm reading this as this is a personal system of yours that YOU upgraded to a new motherboard. There are tiers for the volume licensing agreement, so how do you know what Licence pool your organization purchased and weather or not they included upgrades in the contract? Have you contacted your organization's IT professional? ya know, the guys and gals who bought these things for the company's computers...

sounds kinda suspiciously like you got your hands on a volume key designed for a large company and installed it on your home computer...maybe from a tossed computer...

You should be able to do a system restore and undo what they have done. I don't understand why Microsoft got access your system remotely, let alone why you let them, and why they didn't finish the job. Clearly you have fallen with a new employee poorly trained. (Usually Microsoft hires a third party company for this... and of course, like all of them with ot7her companies doing the same, take the fat check, and offers shit service).

What you should have done is the phone activation process.

But actually, your situation is more complex.

You see, you changed your motherboard. So to Microsoft, you have installed Windows on a SECOND system. That is how the activation process sees it.

As a result, ONLY if you the RETAIL version of Windows 10 (or, if you got the free upgrade, your past version of Windows was a retail license), you can transfer your version of Windows via phone activation.

If you have OEM license or OEM System Builder license, those are not transferable. They are locked to the first motherboard you it on install.

Well I think the person who didnt finish it did it by accident because they asked for my proof of purchase for my am4 mobo and when I opened my email to show them they just ended the chat... Today another person took the proof and generated a new code for me.
