Oculus Rift yes or no

Long story short, I had a Vive almost a year ago and I loved it. Had problems and returned it and didn't get another one. Seeing the rift at $399 is very tempting considering it comes with the touch controllers. But all I am used to is hearing DRM horror stories and I don't really know how well the full room tracking is with it. I think ideally I would want 3 senors for full rooms tracking so it's still half what the vive would be with the better head strap. I already have a bunch of games that came with my vive and the rift comes with some too. Is gen 2 around the corner though?

HTC vive is better, as a whole VR is not worth it.

im expecting secong gen headsets either just before christmas or CES next year tbh. its quite a bit off probably becuase GPUs are not up to the task and the games are mostly meh. i wouldent get the Oculus headset though, tried Vive and its so awesome but i havent tried the Oculus headset but from what i have seen its worse basically

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...
