Server memory compatibilty

Recently i received an old pc from a friend and it came without any memory, so I bought a 4gb ddr3 stick and when i put it in the computer wouldn't post and had a continuous long beep. I googled the RAM i bought and it turned out to be server memory. Can someone check if its compatible with the motherboard for me. Here's the service manual https://www.manualslib.com/manual/445231/Acer-Aspire-X3950.html?page=102#manual

What stick of ram?  Just put normal ddr3 non-buffered non ecc ram in there.

Samsung 4GB 2Rx8 PC3L-10600R DDR3-1333 ECC REG 1.35V RDIMM M393B5273CH0-YH9 this is the memory I bought, when I bought it at the shop (CEX) no where did it say it was server memory so before i return it I was just wondering if there is a slight chance there's a problem with the DIMM slot

you can't run registed ram in a desktop, won't work. You need non registered.
