My brother is about to dive into PC gaming but it's hard to get him a build since the CAD is crappy and the GPU shortage is killing GPU prices. the build will be used for light gaming. He's Looking to get a GPU around the GTX 1050/RX 560 range. I'm trying to figure out I build although I can't seem to make anything work. He does not need a PSU, monitor or any other peripherals. I've got a spare PSU he can have. Used parts are fine just make sure it's ebay.ca not ebay.com. Thanks guys hope you can come up with something.

$370 is rough

I would find a case locally the shipping on the case is not cheap. Check your local kijiji listings

I would also recommend not factoring in the mail in rebate in your purchase budget. You'll see that money months after you bought it if you see it at all.

maybe this?

Honestly though see if you can find an oem office computer with decent specs refurbished or used and through in a 560 or 1050 lp card.

4th  gen i5 and i7 systems can be found for less then $300 if you look for them,

What city do you live in?

Try and get a 960 or 770 for $130 or so (pretty common in Eastern Canada kijiji)

Then nab a early gen i5 + mobo combo (i5 2400/2500 + OEM mobo with like 8gb of RAM) for about $100-150

Spend the remaining amount on either a better CPU (allocate enough for an i7 instead of an i5) or a really nice case for improved cooling.

Want to custom loop?  Ask me more if you are curious

I'm looking for prebuilt office PC's and not having too much luck.

Ask around in local  forums or the tech community see if anyone has a line on where you can find one. A small computer shop may have used parts or systems in the back lying around.
